The Lake Washington softball team scored three runs during the seventh inning Thursday against Mount Si but it wasn’t enough as the ‘Cats took the win 6-3.

The Kangs gave up two runs during the third inning but got rocked during the top of the seventh for four runs. Lake Washington broke the shutout during the bottom of the final inning with three runs. Cori Meyers led the Kangs with three hits.

The team will travel to take on Mercer Island on Monday for a 4:30 p.m. game at the South Mercer Playfields.
