The Lake Washington volleyball team was swept at home against Ballard Wednesday, 3-0.

The Kangs played the Beavers tough during the first game, barely losing 25-23. The second game was just as close but Lake Washington came up short again 25-22. The emotional drain was too much for the Kangs as Ballard took the third game and the match with a 25-15 win.

Lake Washington was led on defense by Katrina Burgos with 10 digs, while Sam Brender had 12 assists and three blocks.

The Kangs are now 0-8 in league play and 0-9 overall.
