The Lake Washington High School girls softball team could not complete the comeback Monday against Mount Si, losing 7-4 at Crestwoods Park.

The Wildcats built a 5-1 lead through the top of the third inning. But two runs during the bottom of the third gave the Kangs hope of a comeback, down by just two.

But Mount Si was able to score two more runs during the top of the fourth and hold off Lake Washington.

Maddie Brown racked up five strikeouts during her three innings pitched but took the loss.
