Lisa Nelson held Mercer Island to just three hits during the Juanita High School softball team’s 7-0 victory on Wednesday in Kirkland.

Nelson racked up 12 strikeouts, while Madi Hedlund blasted a home run for the Rebels.

Juanita’s Aimee Richardson finished 3-for-3 with two doubles at the plate.

The Rebels will host Mercer Island again at 4 p.m. on Friday.
