The Northwest University Eagles showed resilience on the road as they rebounded for a 3-1 (25-18, 15-25, 25-18, 25-23) conference victory over Northwest Christian in the Morse Events Center. NU bounced back from their lone Cascade Collegiate Conference loss to No. 15 Corban last night.
Junior outside hitter Sarah Warner (Olympia, Wash.) led the way for Northwest U (9-3, 3-1 CCC) with 12 kills and 15 digs. Hannah Lord (Vancouver, Wash.) added 8 kills and teammate Morgan Pilon (Olympia, Wash.) had a team high 21 assists. Three other Eagles were in double figures in digs led by Alysanne Van Dyke’s (Edmonds, Wash.) 20 for the team high.
Northwest Christian (5-2, 2-2 CCC) was led by Kasey Campbell and Claire Salness who both finished with 11 kills with Salness adding 9 digs. Maci Beierle had a match high 39 assists and Haley Damian led the Beacons with 25 digs.

NU returns home and will face two nationally ranked teams next weekend when they host the College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon in the NU Pavilion.
