Northwest University’s Leia Roy, Hannah Hanson and Amanda Waterman were recognized as All-Cascade Conference players during the CCC Volleyball Championships team banquet in La Grande, Ore.

Hanson, a senior middle blocker from Tenino, Wash., and Roy, a senior libero from Puyallup, Wash., earned first team, All-Cascade Collegiate Conference honors while Waterman, a junior outside hitter from Highlands Ranch, Colo., was named an honorable mention honoree.

The trio helped lead the Eagle team to a third place finish in the conference this season, the highest since 2005 when the NU team took second in the CCC. NU has posted a 39-17 record in the past two seasons and have a shot at making the NAIA national tournament this season.
