Northwest University sophomore Miranda Langenhorst was named to the all-Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s basketball team on Monday afternoon.
Langenhorst, who led the Eagles in scoring, was one rebound short of averaging a double-double with 9.3 boards and 11.7 points per game. Langenhorst had 11 double-doubles on the season and was 12th in NAIA Division II in offensive rebounding.
Mariah Stacona and Charmaine Bradford was chosen for the honorable-mention list.
Northwest finished the season with a 10-10 conference record for sixth in the conference standings. The Eagles lost to Oregon Tech in first round of the conference tournament.
Eastern Oregon edged Southern Oregon in the conference tournament championship game.
Southern Oregon’s Autumn Durand was named the CCC Player of the Year. Eastern Oregon’s Donniesha Webber won Defensive Player of the Year, Walla Walla’s Alyssa Blankenship won Freshman of the Year and Eastern Oregon’s Anji Weissenfluh was named the conference Coach of the Year.
