The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2016-17 Division II Men’s Basketball All-America teams. Northwest University’s Michael Dupree earned honorable mention honors. Northwest University is located in the Houghton neighborhood of Kirkland.

The All-America Teams are selected by the NAIA All-America Committee.

Dupree was the Eagles leading scorer this past season with a 17.4 point per game average, third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, and also led the team in assists with 104 during 29 games. He shot 48 percent for the season and 44 percent from the three-point line. Dupree totaled 957 career points in just two years of play with NU while handing out 206 assists.
