The Rebels volleyball team picked up two more wins last week, advancing the team to a 6-2 record overall.

The Rebels volleyball team picked up two more wins last week, advancing the team to a 6-2 record overall.

The team defeated Lake Washington 3-0 Sept. 29 (25-17, 25-12, 25-15). Dana Michels had 13 kills in the game, while Jade Finau set 19 assists along with serving four aces. Alivia Stoddard served 3 aces and went on a terrific nine point serving run in the second game. Candace Cromer had 10 digs and three serving aces as well.

Juanita soundly defeated Sammamish 3-0 (25-8, 25-17, 25-7) and moved into second place in KingCo with the win. Jade Finau set up 20 assists along with six kills. Michels had 11 kills and five aces and Elizabeth Tran served up five aces as well. Cromer had 11 digs and four aces.

The Rebels traveled to Mercer Island for a Wednesday match, after Reporter deadline.
