Seattle Storm guard Tanisha Wright visited the Kirkland Boys and Girls Club Aug. 24 to congratulate local youth for reading more than 25,000 collective minutes through this summer’s Seattle Storm/Pitney Bowes Fast Break to Reading program. Because of their achievements, children at the Kirkland club earned a Storm-sponsored pizza party and a visit from Wright, who read a book and signed autographs. Boys and Girls Club members also won tickets to the Seattle-vs.-Washington Mystics game Aug. 25 as part of the Storm’s 2009 Fast Break to Reading Celebration.
