Northwest University’s junior guard, Dak Shagren, was named to the first team, All-Cascade Collegiate Conference team as announced by the league office today. Junior Michael Dupree earned honorable mention honors for the Kirkland university in a vote of the conference coaches.
Shagren, from Custer, Wash., averaged 16.9 points per game in league play, No. 12 in the conference and was No. 2 in the league in free throw percentage making .833 of he attempts. He also finished the season with 1,032 career points, scoring nearly half of them (514) in this season.
Dupree, a junior transfer from Tacoma, Wash., was No. 13 in the league in scoring with a 16.6 ppg average. The Eagle point guard was also No. 10 in the CCC in assists with a 3.8 apg average and No. 6 in free throws with a .792 average.
