Carly Meister scored a game high 32 points to lead No. 13 Southern Oregon to an 89-72 Cascade Conference victory over Northwest University tonight. Meister added 10 rebounds for the double-double as she hit 15 of 20 shots from the field.
Northwest U (11-13, 3-10 CCC) was led by junior Jordan Asher’s 24 points. Brianna Fiso added 12 points for the Eagles who shot 36 percent. Freshman Emily Henderson came off the bench to score nine points.
Autumn Durand added 18 points for Southern Oregon (20-3, 11-3 CCC) and teammate Alexi Smith added 14 for the Raiders who shot 48 percent for the game. SOU finished with a 51-35 rebounding advantage.
Northwest U remains at home tomorrow and will host Oregon Tech at 5:30 p.m., and Southern Oregon will travel to Olympia to play Evergreen.
