Team Victory wins district soccer title | Sports brief

A Kirkland youth soccer team recently won the Washington District 2 U15 championship. Team Victory is comprised of ninth grade players from Kamiakin and Rose Hill junior highs, as well as ICS, Juanita High School Cambridge program and Cedar Park Christian. District 2 consists of teams from the Lake Washington, Eastside, Northshore and Snoqualmie Valley soccer associations.

Team Victory is comprised of ninth grade players from Kamiakin and Rose Hill junior highs, as well as ICS, Juanita High School Cambridge program and Cedar Park Christian. District 2 consists of teams from the Lake Washington, Eastside, Northshore and Snoqualmie Valley soccer associations.

The team moves forward to the Recreation Cup state tournament on Dec. 4 held on Mercer Island. This marks the second straight year the team has won their district.

The team includes: Anneliesa Stubb, Isa Sunde, Aimee Richardson, Katie Stolarski, Emily Dorsey, Nina Roberts, Mandy Sweigert, Casey Harder, Tabitha Wollmuth, Mackenzie Harder, Delaney-Deanna Chan, Marla Ensico, Michali Izhaky, Bridget Beltran, Dinah Lankerovich and Maya Hurst.

The team is coached by Warren Ladiges, Scott Harder, John Stubb and Neil Roberts.
