Brynn Radke and Kristina Warford both hit grand slams as the Juanita High softball team rolled to a 0-2 KingCo victory over Liberty on Wednesday in Issaquah.
Radke lifted a fly ball over the right field fence to give the Rebels (10-5 overall, 10-3) a 10-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Warford’s fly ball to center field scored the final four runs for the Rebels in the top of the fifth inning.
Radke finished 1-1 with six RBIs and four walks, while Warford was 3-4 with five RBIs. Briar Swayne was 3-4 with one RBI.
Lisa Nelson got the win for the Rebels, striking out nine batters, walking one and giving up four hits in four innings.
Next, the Rebels are scheduled to play Sammamish at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28 at Juanita High School.
